When searching for a smarter way to build an additional level to their existing office building, the builder approached Cortek for an easier and productive solution.
THE CORTEK FRAMING STEEL SOLUTION /
Based on prior experience and similar projects, the Cortek team were confident that a lightweight steel alternative could eliminate a significant quantity of the costly structural steel originally specified.
All walls and roof trusses were manufactured using superior Truecore steel material. The Cortek in-house detailing team coordinated shop drawings, 3D modelling, framing layouts and independently engineered 1507 certification.
Frames were pre-fabricated and delivered for a quick and efficient install. With steel frames pre-fabricated straight, true and accurate, there was no risk of shrinking, rotting or twisting which often occurs when timber is used.
