THE PROJECT CHALLENGE /
Campus Clayton; a recently completed apartment development again showcased Cortek’s smarter framing solutions for the industry.
With a diverse range of architectural balustrade designs, Cortek were called upon to provide a simple and efficient pre-fabricated alternative to what was originally documented.
THE CORTEK STEEL FRAMING SOLUTION /
The Cortek in-house design and engineering team provided a streamlined, easy to install system, offering the added advantage of direct fixing of cladding materials.
The existing design of traditional structural steel and top hats was superseded. Frames were shop detailed, pre-fabricated and supplied to site with an easy fix bracket system resulting in a superior substitute.
Cladding was then quickly attached and painted with handrails following. This resulted in a fast and productive solution to the builder’s request.
