THE PROJECT /
Lyndarum North Childcare Centre is a new development in the growing suburb of Wollert. The two-story design of the child care centre features separate rooms for children aging from 1- 3 years as well as kinder facilities for children 3+ years.
The innovative design also includes two storage spaces, a staff tea room and a planning space on the second level.
THE CORTEK STEEL FRAMING SOLUTION /
Having worked with Cortek Framing by SBS Group on previous projects, the clients decision to use steel framing for the walls, joists and trusses for this project was an easy one.
The Cortek design team worked closely with the client to create the custom light gauge steel framing solution for the centre.
The steel frames were fabricated to exact site specifications, reducing on site adjustments and material waste both in the factory and on site.
