Project Overview
THE PROJECT CHALLENGE / Maddingley Village is a brand-new development in Melbourne’s north west. The village consists of residential townhouses as well as retail and hospitality spaces in the emerging suburbs centre. Cortek Framing by SBS Group were engaged by our repeat client Empire Properties to provide the steel framing solution for the 33 townhouses that make up the residential area of the village.
THE CORTEK STEEL SOLUTION /
> The design for the 33 townhouses was full shop drawn and detailed with engineering and framing layouts combined with 3D virtual reality modelling, all coordinated by the dedicated Cortek project manager.
> Cortek identified the need for structural steel and this was included in the design and supplied for the project.
> The TRUECORE steel frames were fabricated to exact site specifications, reducing on site adjustments and material waste both in the factory and on site.
> The floor, wall, joist and roof truss frames were easily fixed off using the supplied layouts.
