THE PROJECT CHALLENGE /
Quest Apartments is one of the latest editions to Dandenong’s urban renewal project precinct. Working to site requirements and specifications, Cortek Framing by SBS Group was engaged to develop, supply and certify a pre-fabricated stand-alone balustrade solution for the 5 level apartment project.
THE CORTEK FRAMING STEEL SOLUTION /
The system replaced additional structural steel posts, top rail and infill framing for a faster and easier installation process.
The lightweight frames were shop detailed and manufactured within a quality controlled factory environment. Once on site, the balustrade sections were craned and fixed into place with a specially designed bracket system.
