Saint Martin, a new boutique development in Brighton demanded a smarter construction method for the five levels of balustrade framing.
THE CORTEK STEEL FRAMING SOLUTION /
A quick and easy installation pre-fabricated system was suggested to replace the traditional and costly structural steel balustrades and planter box framing.
The awarded package included the design, shop detailing, layout plans, engineering certification and computations, manufacture, quality control, coordination with builder/installer and delivery of lightweight framing.
Designed to enable a direct fix of cladding materials to the framing, the galvanised framework was fabricated to various widths as per the architectural specifications and cladding types. A custom concrete hob step over bracket system was also fabricated and incorporated to improve on site efficiencies.
