THE PROJECT CHALLENGE /
The builder was looking for pre-fabricated framing alternatives for the balustrade, feature boxes and fins to achieve multiple smarts.
THE CORTEK STEEL FRAMING SOLUTION /
The combined system incorporated the front balustrade and box feature for ease of installation. For structural fixings back to the building, brackets and cleat systems were designed with diagonal bracing to increase and strengthen structural integrity.
Fully customised to the building requirements, the Cortek framed system included in house detailing and framing layouts with full engineering.
Framing was fabricated using light gauge steel in a controlled factory environment before being transported to site for simple and efficient installation.
When structural steel is replaced with a superior lightweight alternative, there is significant savings involved for the builder.
