THE PROJECT /

The Eric Bell Sporting Pavilion is a new two-storey, multi-use facility designed to support AFL, netball and cricket.  The redevelopment provides upgraded community spaces and inclusive facilities to encourage greater participation, while enhancing the broader Eric Bell Reserve precinct.

The client was facing a highly complex architectural design for the external soffit, featuring multiple rakes and facets. Traditional building methods would have been labour-intensive, time-consuming, and difficult to execute on site, creating risks to both the construction timeline and overall quality.

THE CORTEK STEEL FRAMING SOLUTION /

Cortek provided a tailored solution by designing and manufacturing pre-fabricated modules for each facet of the soffit. This approach significantly reduced on-site labour, simplified installation and helped the client maintain their build program.

By taking the complexity off site, Cortek ensured precision, efficiency and confidence throughout the project.

In the words of the client:

Due to the complexity of this ceiling and surroundings these shapes could not have been created so cm perfect if it wasn’t for the prefab system and a brilliant Cortek design.
