THE PROJECT /
This project involved the construction of a new learning centre, where the initial structural steel design was creating budget constraints.
The client sought an alternative solution that could reduce costs while maintaining quality and structural integrity. Coordination between structural and architectural elements also required a framing system that could deliver accuracy and efficiency on site.
THE CORTEK STEEL FRAMING SOLUTION /
Cortek provided a fully certified wall and truss system as an engineered alternative to conventional steel. The pre-fabricated solution simplified installation, reduced labour requirements, and delivered cost efficiencies.
With prior positive experience using Cortek framing, the client easily adopted the system for the newest stage of this project. Cortek’s precise design and off-site fabrication also helped minimise construction delays and ensured a high-quality, consistent outcome across the project.
The result was a streamlined construction process that met both budget and program requirements without compromising on performance.
In the words of the client:
A major advantage of working with Cortek was the significant time saved on site, along with the cost efficiencies gained by removing large tonnages of steel.
